Voicemail for Express ?

The way Express is designed, it's basically using the frontend of our existing systems.

A call comes in to a core switch which then routes the call to the one a residential user is registered on or forwards it. Express calls just use this directly and route the the customer provided destination.

If we start doing a lot with Express, it basically has to become its own service and really gives people most of the functionality our full plans offer so they lose value and Express basically attracts a lot of users who want our features, but don't have much usage.

Overall, it's really something that we don't want to add a lot to because it'll morph into its own Pay as You Go setup which is a business model that we don't want to get into for now.

Then a metered rate after that.

I see your point- but basically every other virtual toll free number company AT LEAST offers free voicemail. That is a must have for me.

Most of them are offering the service at a significantly higher price point as well.

As an example, our toll-free service works out to $2-$3 monthly and includes 100 minutes. Compare that to Kall8 at $2 monthly for the number + 6.9 Cents x 100 Minutes = $8.90 for the same service. Kall8 is going for one type of user and has features that appeal to them, while we're going for another type of user. With them, their toll-free service is their flagship service...with us it's just a value-add that is easy to offer while residential is our core offering.

It's just a different target market.
