My wife tried to fax me some papers a couple times to 2 different fax numbers, and they all failed. Is this something I should open a ticket for ?

There was a brief outage with the fax service.

We license the fax technology as a result a portion of it is outsourced. The provider had a short issue today which should be corrected now.

J2 is very agressive with their patents.

Tim, the 3rd line is kind of out of left field? Or are you alluding to why voipo outsources this? (e.g. it's very hard to roll your own without getting sued by J2?)

Yes, this is why we outsource portions of it. Most small providers choose to ignore this kind of issue due to a lack of assets, but with us, we're a little more cautious and make sure everything we do is on solid ground.
