It's being integrated now actually. Here is the dev form where it's being worked on: http://billing.voipo.com/devorder/

Right now the live form has State - Ratecenter - Number. We're moving to State - Area Code - Ratecenter - Number.

Basically as soon as we add the ratecenter filtering to the dev form and test it some more, it'll be ready to go. It's primarily a mix of Level3, Paetec and Global Crossing.

Also with the dev form, we're changing the porting process a little in that it will collect the porting form info and generate a printable PDF so the only thing to do is sign and fax in with a bill copy rather than filling it out by hand.

I randomly picked lots of numbers that say not available.
It makes it look like you have many rate centers and no stock.
    (IA, FL, HI, MI tried.)

A bunch of dead ends is going to be frustrating to someone signing up.

Many will know locally, but struggle picking a virtual number.

Michigan/248 is too broad. Michigan/248/FARMINGTON(522) is better.

I see you that 248-522 is BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - MI
Right now the live form has State - Ratecenter - Number.
We're moving to State - Area Code - Ratecenter - Number.

Right now the dev seems to be
State - Area Code - Number
    • So in summary State - AREA CODE - Ratecenter(Exchange) - Number seems better.
    • I would gray-out unavailable Exchanges.
    • I would state that unavailable Exchanges can be special ordered.
    • If you can't supply Hawaii, why make it look like you offer it?

Your live link will let the customer proceed without actually picking a number.
I can enter Missouri/Kansas City, then click proceed.

The dev order form is coming along and we expect to replace the live one with it next week. The area code DB needs cleaned up a little too. We're merging Level3, Global Crossing, and Paetec info so some of it is a little messy (area codes showing up in 2 states, etc).

Basically just still need that ratecenter filtering + error checking.

It is now populated with phone numbers though (just sorted by area code).

If you want to get a feel for the launch numbers available though, they are pretty much populated though.
